Short breath. Big sheet. Sparks. That is usually how the shift starts when the ByCut Eco wakes up. Operator hits Start, coffee is still warm, the first contour is already finished. Hard to keep up.

The machine sits low, compact, almost modest, yet numbers tell another story. 12 kW on tap if you order the biggest source, still 2 kW works for thin stainless, depends on your jobs, you pick.

Where the brand came from

Bystronic – Swiss roots, mid-80s, counting 37 years on the market. Roughly 18 000 laser units shipped worldwide, that is what their last sustainability report whispers. ByCut Eco itself arrived in 2021 as a price-friendly sibling to the high-spec ByStar. Two frame sizes so far, no rumours of a 6 m bed yet, maybe later.
