Fanuc boards are rated 45 °C ambient, but the cabinet in MT-1500 packs a heat-exchanger loop, no external chiller boxes dangling, less stuff to leak. If you run mixed lot orders, parking a MT-1500 next to the MT-1000 means one program post, one tooling library, less chaos.
I like to lean on the sheet-metal door and watch chips fly, cannot do that on every lathe. Here the door glass spans 760 mm wide, light reaches the tool nose, cameras optional.
